All of these came in a full sizes, how generous Kracie is deshou? (deshou means "is not it/right" in Japanese)

The Ichikami's moisturizing line shampoo & conditioner in a full sized bottle, the scent is just so sweet with an Apricot & Sakura notes! love love love!

Minna-san Konichiwa!

Model: JiaJia | Photographer: Cruiser Photography
*This is a photo as an example from my photoshoot quite long time ago

First of all, let me make a straightforward point in the very first place, I'm not writing this because I'm a narcissistic, a yada yada yada or whatever, it is a big NO (so don't get the wrong idea). I know that some of you girls who are reading my blog get the idea of me are involved in modelling recently, and that's why I feel responsible to share this with you girls who are also a beginner in a modelling career (or if you are interested to start out your modelling journey). I started out my part time career as a freelance model on Dec 2013 ago, and yet I'm still are far away from being called as an "experienced" one because I still do need to learn more & more & more, so I just labelled myself as a model who just have "some experience" in modelling.

Recently I got a few invitations to the photoshoot, I must say honestly here that I'm always so picky towards any photoshoot invitation, I want to build this side career of mine in the way that I wanted & planned, I'm never after the fame, I just prioritize my objectives of something that I wanted to achieve, I do something because I love it. That's why I start slowly, and never hesitate to reject any photoshoot invitation that seems to violate my rights as a model and did not meet my taste & preferences. I have my own reliable & trusted photographers that I always meet & do work together so even if there's any photographer who say they wanna pay me.."Hesitation" never come across my mind if they did not meet my preferences, that was the honest statement from my heart.

The reason of why these invitations got rejected by me, because they're seems to be a fraud and a scam one (, I find it rather a harassment than just an invitation), what I mean by a "scam photoshoot" was never seems to be a legit photoshoot, being a beginner freelance model is very dangerous if you have a zero knowledge about how to differentiate a scam photoshoot and a real photoshoot invitation. Being a model who is under an agency is somehow on a different page, they did't have to worry about anything because they're bound by an agreement and a T&C of their agency, and they're fully protected by their agency, even all cost, props, and their outfits regarding their photoshoot are provided & directed by their agency.

So listen girls, DO NOT think that the world today is very safe especially in this virtual reality world, "wolves are prowling everywhere to find its preys", you have no idea that there are some strange people/perverts who just sneaked into this modelling world and pose themselves as a "photographer" in disguise. Thus, I'm writing this sincerely to help you girls on how to differentiate a scam photoshoot, and a real photoshoot. I hope that even with this little knowledge about the modelling that I have in the box of my chest, it will still be helpful, at least..because I have ventured in this world nearly a year since then, so I might know a little bit.

How to tell if you are getting a real or a scam photoshoot invitation:

1. This is the first thing you should know, if you are a beginner who just received your first ever photoshoot invitation, DON'T be too overly excited until you forget about your own safety and just say YES, instead, check the photographer's background first, ask for their website, FB page, or anything that may prove either he is a fake photographer or a real photographer who are really doing a photography, and REMEMBER, perverts are not too dumb. Sometimes, they're genius as hell, they can make their portfolio seems legit, but that doesn't mean they can ever fish you if you know better, a fake photographer never show their identity, I know sometimes a real photographer also don't always show their identity online, but one thing for sure is, a FAKE PHOTOGRAPHER usually don't have their own page, their profile on website is always with "NO AVATAR", their portfolio are nonsense, sometimes filled with an indecent images, and everything about the fake photographer is always seems so strange. If you remember this & take it deep to your heart, you'll be safe my girls.

2. They are often not asking regarding the photoshoot seriously, they just keep asking about the date of which you should come, and sometimes trying to fish you by saying "I'll pay you, for even how much your rate is, I have no problem to pay" REMEMBER THIS, it was truly RARE for a beginner model to get paid by any photographer, most in time some photographer just willing to do a TFP with them to help them (TFP stand for "Time For Print" or also means a "Tradework", which is neither two parties are paying each other, the photographer use their professional touch to get your figure for their photography, and you are willing to do that to build your own portfolio in return)

3. If you get a photoshoot invitation, try to ask them first if you're allowed to bring a chaperon with you, if they did't allow it and most importantly if they have the NUMBER 1 CHARACTERISTICS, FORGET IT in the first place. Sometimes, a real photography team with their own crews also did't allow you to bring your chaperon to make sure there's no people get in their works on the set, but this case is very RARE, because even though the photography team have a lot of crews, they will still allow you to bring your escorts, just that they aren't allowed to be on the set together with you. So if there's any photographer who say "DON'T BRING ANYONE", or did't reply you back after you say you would like to bring your chaperon...BOOH, HE MIGHT BE THE ONE OF THE WOLVES.

4. Beware of the "NUDE SHOOT", I'm not really against the nude shoot, but it is dangerous for a beginner if you know nothing about it, and please consider & set your goal in modelling once you decided to be a freelance model, ask yourself "What kind of portfolio I would like to build?", "Am I open for a nude shoot?", "What are my genres in modelling", if you are willing to do a nude shoot, it is up to you and it was never wrong in a modelling world, but if you are not willing to do the nude shoot or any kind of indecent shoot...NEVER DO IT , AND STATE THAT CLEARLY in your profile/page or to the photographer. Nude images that a real photographer shot in their portfolio have an artistic value itself, but if there's a fake photographer who claimed that they wanted to collaborate for a nude shoot, and if you are willing to do that, check their portfolio first, and if all the images that they have seems to be too much with a nude images which is almost like a porn, FORGET IT. A NUDE IMAGE & A PORN IMAGE IS TOTALLY A DIFFERENT THING YOU CAN TELL BY YOURSELF. I know there's also a porn model in modelling world, but who want to be one especially if you're a beginner rite?? PLS CONSIDER YOUR OWN SAFETY FIRST! Nude images that the photographers shot have an artistic value, while porn is something different which is all about the SEX. You should know when it is a time to watch out of these SO-CALLED "PHOTOGRAPHERS". If you are a new freelance model, I should suggest you to never ever think about having a nude shoot in your beginning era, not until you be the professional one first if you really want to do that.

5. Always refer to the friends & family, and NEVER just accept the invitation & go alone. Most importantly the very few people don't take seriously, INNER VOICE. If your inner voice say "I'm not sure whether I should go or not" don't go, if your inner voice say "I think this is a scam" don't go, if your inner voice say "It seems like a scam", then don't go too, Believe in your inner voice and use your brain to think logically based on facts & info.

Below is some of the cases of people who posed as a "photographer" to lure a girls into a modelling job, perhaps this is a WARNING to the girls out there who aspire to be a model to be cautious in engaging into this world, because what looks safe to you might not really safe actually.

This case is not involving the self-honour issue only, but also the robbing issue. There are a lot of female models who have involved in this case as a victims, recently one of my model friend also got cheated, robbed & molested, I'm so thankful to god nothing even worse happen to her..though she was upset..I hope she is better now., thus I write this post with a good intention and sincerely just want to spread out the info & warn the new aspiring models who may not know about this, perhaps you could be cautious. If you have some queries regarding this post never hesitate to email me or leave me a comment on this post, I'll surely glad to help you out with what I know.

See you guys again on my next post!

Little lovely thing that make my hands rescued from the dryness caused by the kiss of these days weather! Hello cream brulees! I got this super handy hand cream from Etude House on sales ago but can't really remember how much off did I get but vaguely it was like 30%, one thing for certain is it's cheaper than the original price haha...sorry (I know I need some brain juice now (* ̄(エ) ̄*) )

A girl will always be a girl forever, I easily captivated by the packaging..(even though I never use or heard about the product, but if they have the kawaii and adorable packaging that can catch my eyes, I'll buy it and after that take the risk to try it, this is me) but Etude House is familiar to me somehow, because I'm an Etude House loyal consumer, and this brand win my heart for being adorable!

Just look at the packaging, it is very handy, and came with a small tube that can fit into your handbag. Whenever you are in need you just need to open the cap and squeeze the right amount for your hand.

I actually dislike the rich texture in context of any creams, I love the lightweight kind of cream that easily absorbed into the skin and leave no greasy feeling, and this cream just did the right thing to satisfy my requirements. It's smells so nice too!

Korean really concerns of their skin and take care of their skin so much to prevent premature ageing and wrinkles, and this Etude House hand cream not only promises to one benefit only, besides just replenish the moisture it can also helps to hinder the wrinkles & premature ageing for your hands. As what I expected from the Korean brand.

This item would be a perfect gift for your lovely sisters, mom, and girl friends too! (=^-ω-^=)

Name: Etude House Hand Bouquet Rich Butter Hand Cream
Made in: Korea
Price: RM14 (with about 30% Off) - The original price would be around RM20
Where to buy: Etude House Store @ Online Beauty Store
Net weight: 50ml (1.69 fl. oz)

See you guys again on my next post!

Hello chokoreeto pockies!

Janggg! I'm home now at my hometown, Terengganu! LOL
You have no idea how much I'm missing this place rite, well I grew up here after all, that's why.

*Long rambling post without pictures ALERT*

I think that my room looks very dusty too, almost like a haunted house one hahaha! My sisters scared of me and abide they will never enter my room and it is just left like no wonder it looks like a haunted mansion now...bwahaha!

Oh ya, talking about my home, reminds me of my mom. She love to listen to the radio so much, and she love the beauty segment the most! She will wait for the beauty segment talks every day and take out something to write on the stockist's contact no and info about the products. This segment talks about the local beauty products produced by Bumiputera most of the times (bumiputera means "Malaysian/local/Malay" in Malay) mom is kinda supportive towards local product, she said "Not all our local products is bad, as a Malaysian we must support our own brand!" I wonder such a patriotism flows in her..hahaha

Then recently she bought something like shampoo for hair fall control & organic feminine wash from a Super Beauty brand, well using a local product isn't really come to my liking, not that because they're all bad and low quality, but I got a bitter experience before using a local product, so I'm kind off like beware of them...anyhow I must admit it that there are still a lot of a good local beauty products out there, just that we did't meant for each other yet..Lol!

The organic feminine wash that my mom bought is really organic and there's no chemical ingredients in it, that's sounds good..and it was multifunctional as well..the moment I was told by my mom that it can be used as a toothpaste too..I was like.."What the fish of feminine wash is that??" well actually my mom tried it, and she love it, because it was formulated with a mineral salt as a key ingredient, just that it is a bit soapy to be considered as something that can be used inside your mouth. She told me that the first time she use it as a toothpaste, it was like hella weird, a soapy feeling inside her mouth, however then she began to liking it because she feels different, I mean she told me that her teeth is feeling good, like more cleaner compared to Colgate and any other toothpaste brands she ever used, and a fresh breath.

And..the helliest moment comes when I used it...

Bwuekkkk!! Never ever use a soapy thing inside your mouth!!! Though it was multifunctional!! It's not that I'm worry about the product because I knew that it was chemical free and actually a trusted product, but I feels so dying coz I'm not used to a soapy toothpaste..the soapy feeling inside your mouth is like..yuuccckkkkhh!! This is really depends on people I guess, maybe some can stand it, some like myself can't stand it..imagine it..the soapy smell inside your mouth is like..urrghhh!!...I will never use it as a toothpaste again..Never ever!! I puked my own saliva ok.. It is so awful to me!!

Btw, to imagine that there's a multifunctional feminine wash existed in this world is such an innovative contribution for consumers rite? however to use it as a toothpaste is something crazy to me (though the fact that they really can be used as one), my mom is a superwoman then, because she really can use it..hahahaha! Ok, enough with my random ramblings...LOL!

See you guys again on my next post!

Ohayo macaroons! genki desu ka??

It was on the last 31st October ago I went to the Kracie X Butterfly Project Malaysia event that took place at Fullhouse Themed Cafe @ Sunway Pyramid, it was the cutest beauty blogger event that I ever attended, ever! As it was held on 31st of October, this should be considered as a cutest halloween party too!

Everybody wore a very cute outfit too, and has embraced the Japanese Kawaii scene! this time I was given a chance to meet & greet the other invited kawaii fellow butterfly beauty bloggers in this happening beauty blogger community ever, The Butterfly Project Malaysia!
*Literally all of the old members are known as a "Butterflies", and the new members are called as "Caterpillars", isn't it such a cute "nicknames"?? Oh my!

I got a "How to do" & introduced to a useful tips for hair care & skin care too, but this event main purpose is to introduce their hair care range, Ichikami. In the same time they also introduced their Hadabisei skin care range.

Little Bit About Kracie

The history of the toiletries & cosmetics division of Kracie began in 1936 when its predecessor successfully developed the technology of refining raw oil used to make soaps from chrysalises of silkworms for the first time in Japan, and introduced the highest quality soap, 'Savon de Soie' (Kanebo Silk Soap), to the market.

In 2007, Kanebo was renamed as "Kracie", that was how Kracie's name started to appear everywhere, Since before 1980, Kracie has also started producing food products as well, like non-fried noodles.
Its slogan "たいせつなこと。"(Taisetsu-na-koto) means "for the important things in life". Kracie is also claimed to be the 2nd largest Japanese company in Japan.

In short, Kracie have 3 division of products that they produces today, Toiletries & Cosmetics, Pharmaceutical, and Food.

I'm not sure if you have ever heard about Kracie's Popin Cookin before, but it is quite famous and this is one of the example of the foods they produced, I called it an "Edible Toy" because they're a real food (actually a candy-like in the way I can't explain, haha) but then they must be prepared which is this is a very brilliant idea for the kids to play, in the same time, they can eat the thing they play, it was like the kids playing cooking and after that they can even eat them. This is an edible Food Toy.

Hora mite, the example:
(literally "hora" means "see" & "mite" means "look" in Japanese, but both these words together means "look at this!")

To be exact, they have hair care, skin care, body care, and depilatory/bath salt products. Their market is also vast either in Asian countries or Western countries, Kracie is widely sold in China, Hongkong, Taiwan, Korea, Thai, Singapore, Malaysia, Myanmar, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Mongolia, and Philippine for Asian countries, and USA, Canada, and Russia for Western countries.

Kracie can be found in Watson, Guardian, Sasa, Boots, Mannings, and Mitsuwa marketplace (abroad).

In Malaysia, currently Kracie is available at all aeon wellness store namely Mid Valley, Bandar Utama, Taman Maluri, Taman Equine, Queensbay, Bandar Sunway, Bukit Indah, Mahkota Cheras, Permas Jaya, AU2, Bukit Tinggi, Kulai, Bandaraya Malacca, Metro Prima, Subang Jaya, Bangsar South, Penang Prai, Ipoh Station 18, Bandar Puchong, Bukit Mertajam, Wangsa Maju, River City, Alpha Angle, Quill City, IOI Putrajaya Citymall, Taiping Mall, Tropicana City Mall, and etc.

Little Bit About Ichikami

You can see here, the orange series is the Moist care line, while the black & white one is the Smooth care line.

Ichikami is the hair care range produced by Kracie, their tagline of "Hair smoother than silk"hold the concept of the importance of Repair+Prevention to get the beautiful & healthy hair. The formula of Ichikami is specially designed to resolve the problem of the hair like dryness, and UV damaged hair with the prevention of friction by lightening it.

Ancient Japanese believed that their hair represent themselves, Ichikami comes from an ancient proverb 一髪二姿 (Ichikami, nisugata) which means "Hair comes first, appearance comes second". With beautiful hair, beautiful appearance will come after. Japanese believe that if we take a good care of our hair, it will reflects the inner "face" of human and then we will looks beautiful on the whole, that represent the word of "Hair is woman's crowning glory".

Ichikami encompasses the true spirit of Japanese beauty by combining ancient wisdom and modern technology to create a hair care range that harnesses the benefits of Japanese botanical essences.

On overall, the special ingredients of Ichikami products is the Japanese Botanical Essences.

Ichikami Moist Care Line:

Specifically, Ichikami moist care line formulated with apricot oil and tea flower extract as a key ingredient to hydrates both hair & scalp, it have a scent of bittersweet apricot and cherry blossom (Sakura). I love the fruity apricot scent it have! It makes me feels so special!!

Ichikami Smooth Care Line:

Since in ancient times, Japanese women have practiced the use red bean hair mask traditionally, they will boil the red beans and smashed it till it become the paste and apply it on hair. Red beans called "Azuki" in Japanese. Till these days, Japanese still called Red beans as Azuki beans. Red beans not only work wonders on hair but also on skin. Azuki beans improves the smoothness of hair while repairing damages. This smooth care line do have the wonderful scent of cherry blossom, Azuki beans is also a key ingredient for this line.

Ichikami also consists the Special care line like hair essence, hair oil, hair water, hair pure oil, and the newest item is Thermal hair pack for more intense hair care.

The Ichikami Hair styling products consists of hair jelly, hair mist, hair emulsion, hair cream, hair cologne, and hair fixing water.

Let's go see what happened inside the event! etto...btw, I'm sorry for the quality, it may be a little bit blurry because I just used my phone camera, I forgot to bring my camera there to be honest, but believe me this is all the best photos I have from the event. Gomen nasai~ *bow* (gomen nasai means "I'm sorry" in Japanese)

"Taisetsu na koto", Kracie..Kracie wa daisuki!!

All fellow butterflies are busy snapping a pictures too.

This Ojisan (Ojisan means "Uncle" in Japanese), who represent Kracie start his presentation with the intro about Kracie,...nonetheless he is the best! I like him!

Ano ojisan  (ano means "that" in Japanese), he is a friendly Japanese man who used to live in China about 5 years, he can't speak English so he spoke Mandarin instead, I actually don't remember his (gomen T.T)...there's also a translator there who helped him with the translation to English.

The Kracie's Ichikami hair products on the dining table looks real sugoii! (sugoii means "cool" in Japanese).

The Ichikami hair styling jelly, moisturizing shampoo, smoothing hair treatment & hair oil, the packaging looks so so kawaii with the sakura design! Kyaaa!

The Ichikami hair oil's bottle packaging looks like a perfume bottle, which is I think so adorable to be placed on my makeup table!

We are served with the appetizer, the garlic bread with the creamy prawn soup, accompanied with the Ichikami products on the table, LOL!

My main course is the Dory fish fillet, we can even choose the main course.

Cheesecake is the dessert. I feels so fancy & special

As we're all eating, the demonstration on how to wear the Kracie's Hadabisei facial mask started. Btw, Hadabisei is the range of skin care by Kracie, they're popular with their facial mask & eye zone mask.

Ojisan again, hahaha, he is so friendly, because we're all have makeup on and refused to be a model for the facial mask demonstration, he then agreed to be the model..hahaha! I laughed so hard on this! Isn't he so cute?? LOL!

This onna no ko (onna no ko means "girl" in Japanese) in the Yukata is the model for the hair styling demonstration by Kracie's Ichikami products.

Both Ichikami & Hadabisei series all on the table, this made me feels like I'm in a heaven of beauty for a while..LOL!

Ano ojisan wa (wa means "is/are/was/were" in Japanese), he is so hella funny you know, he was eating with us and we butterflies said "anata wa kawaii desu" to him and he laughed, and then he asked us what is "kawaii" in Malay, and one of my butterfly friend, Dr. Puteri Zatil Aqmar answered "comey!", then he pointed his finger to all of us and said "comey comey comey comey!" HAHAHA, I laughed my lungs out, this ojisan is so humorous!

Finally!! I got my photo with my Blogger Idol ever, Tammy Lim! She is a wonderful Mama-chan (Founder) of this Butterfly Project Malaysia community! I read her blog since I'm at 15 till now! That was such a long time following & adoring her and today god arranged it for me that I'm even one of the butterflies now & several times met her, she is a humble & adorable person in reality! I love Mama-chan forever! *feels blessed*

One of the new blogger friend I made at the event, She is Grace Aiko, and I think she looks like Melodee, the famous Japanese beauty youtuber! and to know that she is also a cosplayer I was like Kyaaaaaaaa! two same interest has crossed! Oh btw, do follow her on her blog here, she talks about Japanese makeup, beauty & stuff a lot on her blog!
