Oussu candy-domo!

Hai, kyo wa I would like to talk about this one lipstick which is one of my fave because the shade is totemo daisuki de!

I think everyone knows how much cute Candy Doll's packaging can be, tho simple. Some said they seems to appear like a cheap product..ano...who dare to say that in front of my face? Then enjoy tomorrow to the fullest because the next day is gonna be your last *innocently blinks eyes* (too in love with Candy Doll LOL)

If you look at it properly, Candy Doll did have a really simple design on the product body...however it suit with its concept. If you want something kawaii it doesn't need to be extreme. Too much isn't kawaii anymore deshou? Therefore I'm enjoying the Candy Doll simple yet cute packaging design. The fairytale-like oval shape design with roses & crown is one of their trademark. It looks like an exclusive magical mirror in the princess bedroom to me.

One improvement I really think Candy Doll should have done is their scent. Most Candy Doll's lippies does not have any scents at all and it is kinda less exciting using them. I prefer a lip products that have a sweet or nice light scents, it is very dedicated to us girls. Girls love something smells nice that is why we girls always smells nice..hoohoohoo

Its creamy texture make it glides smoothly on application. But urm..the staying power is like ma-ma (so-so) I probably gives 5/10. The shade's fading out pretty fast. Honestly I love the color but I don't really like how it's fading out really fast, you need to always re-touching it once every 1-2 hours. Well we always talk, eat and drink everyday after all, so just remember to always do some re-touching to keep the color fresh all day long.

I have mine in Pink Grapefruit. I'm very bad at expressing color but to me the shade is just like light purplish peach pink in color (without flash)

This is how it looks like on me (with flash)

Candy Doll lipstick is now only available in Ramune Pink, Pink Graperuit and plus the new limited RED edition, rose red (which also comes together with the new color of duo blush in rose pink/peach pink & lipgloss in ruby red). The sad truth is I've overlooked this limited edition and now they're very hard to be found. Luckily after an hours of searching over net I found a S'pore shopping site that is still selling both of the lipgloss and lipstick (the blush is sold out anyway TT) It is TheCosmeBox. Another good thing I found is The Cosme Box also selling the Candy Doll lipstick in Juicy Orange & Juicy Pink which is very rare to get!! Wewwhoo!

Oh btw I really really missed the old Candy Doll lipstick because they have a gorgeous shades which is now is already discontinued (again TT). I like the shades but I did't even had a chance to try them out before because at that time I was still a 17 y/o gal who is still completely staying in Terengganu *sad*, where can you find a Candy Doll products in Terengganu aite? Plus back then it was kinda hard to get a Japanese products in Malaysia, unlike these days. Most of them were sold on overseas shopping sites and buying them can be much more pricey than their retail price (Plus being a 17 y/o student at that time I surely did't have much money compared to now) The shades which being discontinued are Vanilla Beige, Apricot Beige & Poodle Pink.

Nyaann! ω(=^・^=)ω

I'm living in 2 places, KL & Terengganu but mostly I will be in Terengganu all of the time. So whenever I touch down KL I love wandering around especially at the shopping spots & districts without an important purpose..it is so much fun that way coz sometimes I might naturally just stumble on something I did't expect to LOL

If you're a KL residents I guess you must have already know about Komonoya Japan coz this shop is placed everywhere in the shopping malls around KL like in IOI Mall, Klang Parade, Mid Valley Megamall, Quill City Mall and etc. It is a shop which similar to Daiso Japan, and of course it is Japan originated as well. The shop sells a lot of interesting & unique Japanese stuff...not to mention that all of the items is totemo kawaii too!! I cannot really go inside both Daiso & Komonoya because I'm pretty sure that I will shop a lot! why not because the items sold is super duper kawaii from the kitchen tools, novelty stuff, oishi snacks & sooo many more...plus with the good good price! (All items are sold at only as low as RM5)

What I love most about Japanese stuff is they're affordable, while still offers the same quality of items you probably might buy with more penny at somewhere else (plus with the very unique & kawaii appearance, not something you might easily get at other places)

Below is 2 items I bought from Komonoya Midvalley. One is an ichigo daifuku keychain and another one is the super duper kawaii falsies case. I always have my eyes on that kawaii Koji Dolly Wink falsies case but haven't really got chance to buy it yet. Now that I've bumped into this I can confidently say that the falsies case is not a bit bad than that Koji Dolly Wink one! Just that it is not as tiny as the pocket sized Koji Dolly Wink falsies case.

The ichigo daifuku keychain looks authentic, it is choooo kawaii too!

The inside is wayyy better than what you might imagine, that eyelids-like shape inside make it easier to place the falsies without being too jumbled around with the other lashes. Just that the case is a little bit large as a lashes case. Depends on people actually but I prefer the tinier one. However this is still cute and deserves my attention!

Such a round falsies case with a lacey-like details, sugoku kawaii!...haih where else can you get something as cute as these two babies? LOL

In case if you wonder, this is the cute Koji Dolly Wink Lashes Case that I really adore and been wanting!

BTW, in terms of diversity I think Daiso have so many more items to offer compared to Komonoya..both shop do sells a cute stuff but you can find more on Daiso Japan. If it is about the prices, both do sells all items at RM5 but Daiso charge for GST...while Komonoya is GST free.

So do check the shop out whenever you're free, you'll be excited for sure! Btw, never been to other Komonoya Japan outlets in KL yet besides just at the Midvalley.

See you guys on my next post!

Annyeong haseyo chingu ya!

Lol, I'm going to review something related with K-beauty so this time let me being a little towards Korean haha!

Actually I've been introduced to Althea Korea (Althea.kr) since July ago, I was one of the Beta-testers to test out the website when they launched it for the first time...however because I was caught up in some problem with delivery from Skynet (one of the Malaysian courier) I received the products veeery very late (this was supposed to be posted on July ago). Got sick of Skynet, I really do not wish to use any of the services from this courier again in future if possible!

Well back on track, let me show you something to give you a little "pulse" LOL

I think the pale pink box with the "Althea" written on it is really "yeppuda"! The products was wrapped nicely with bubble wraps (I already removed them btw lol) and they were placed sturdily in the center of the box with the crumpled pink papers around them to avoid them from clashing with each other while on the journey.

I got myself 2 products from Althea, which is Piolang 24K Gold Warpping Mask, this is the editor's pick on Althea and Laneige Blackhead Melting Gel, which is my very first Laneige product...woohoo! I've been wanting to try out Laneige for sooo long! The prices that Althea Korea offered is unbeatable too! They sell the authentic products from Korean brands directly from Korea and the prices is way affordable too COMPARED TO ANY OTHER ONLINE SHOPPING SITES IN MALAYSIA!

Let's start talking about the special Piolang 24K Gold Wrapping Mask first which is also an Althea beauty editor Tammy's pick! Thanks to Tammy for introducing this to me, I haven't heard of this brand before to be honest...but with her being so hyped over it has given me such curiosity to try this out and goshh...I regret for only buying 1, I should have bought 2 jars of this LOL!

1. Piolang 24K Gold Wrapping Mask (RM267.60 RM69.00 on Althea)

Gold has been proven to bring a goodness to women's skin since ancient time, it is said that gold is capable in giving a youthful skin and preserve it from the aging. That is why since from the ancient Egypt era, the Queen/Cleopatra and the noblewomen has worn gold as their ornament and jewelry.

It doesn't comes with spatula so I used my own mini spatula to scoop the content out from the jar, it is advisable to use spatula than just dipping your finger straight into it as the method is not hygienic.

You can use a masker brush to apply it as well.

*UPDATE: It comes with a clear spatula, but it was slipped in between the outer and inner box LOL so I overlooked it.

This gold mask contains a REAL 99% of GOLD, to acquire the purity of 99.99% gold, it was melted with 1,300°C heat to extract the gold molecules. It brightens, evens & firms the skin. Gosh I truly felt so "expensive" and fancy just by having this pure gold wrapping mask!!

Gold ion is very similar as a light voltage in the body which activate skin function. When it touches skin, it infuses into skin layer to make skin healthy and vivid. Besides purify the skin it also can energize, revitalize and remove the bad cell, leaving the skin well hydrated, and brightened up! Aside the 99% of gold as the main ingredient, the mask also have the Korean snail extract, seaweed extract, white willow leaf extract and jojoba seed oil! I feels like using this mask every single day and night now, the goodness they gave leads to such addiction! The mask is very runny and watery. If you put too much it will dripping off and it takes so much time to wait them dry.

Once it's dry it turns to rubbery and stretchable sheet. You can easily peel it off from bottom to top. Actually what I was so curious about this mask is normally after we have a masking session using a mask that turns to rubbery texture after, our skin tends to look more mattified so I've been picturing how my skin would turns out after using the mask and I wondered whether my skin is really gonna turns that glowy like how the ads photo have shown on Althea. And surprisingly it does! Like this is the first mask ever that has given me such effect (I have no idea something this cool even exist in this world haha), my jaw dropped in awe!!

It is really stretchable after it dry.

2. Laneige Blackhead Melting Gel (RM105.00 RM77.00 on Althea)

It comes with that button on the right and the silicone massager,  press the button and the gel will automatically squeezed out from the hole and massage the area where you want to melt down the blackheads and clogged pores.

When the gel comes out, it looks like a gel at first and within a seconds it turns to watery texture. You will start to feel a slightly hot sensation on your skin as you massage it on. Thus do not let the gel be too long on your skin because it is worried that it will irritate your skin especially if your skin is a sensitive type. Melting Gel containing Keratinase enzyme which effectively melts down skin cells and blackheads.

So far the best gel I have used to fight my blackheads and clogged pores effectively is B.liv Off With Those Heads Sebum Gel...it is indeed one of my HGs! (and way more pricey urgh!) But it's been a few months I haven't restocked it because I was trying to live without it coz I use it everyday and it run out fast...but it seems like my pores can't really survive without it *sobs sobs*..gonna need to buy it real soon later. Laneige one works just fine but honestly not as effective as B.liv did on me.

I mean B.liv Off With Those Heads Sebum Gel works by melting the whole gunks inside your pores and when you press the pores using a presser it will effortlessly extracted out till nothing is left anymore, painlessly and because the gunks have softened so whenever you cleanse your face it will eventually cleansed off till nothing is left and the skin becomes much smoother without a bumpy clogged pores and blackheads...while Laneige works by only melting the blackheads on the skin surface, I mean just for the heads that appear on the skin and there are still a gunks residue left deep inside your pores. I discovered that after I touch my T-zone area using my fingers after using the melting gel, I can still feel a tiny bumps, just that I did't see a heads on the skin surface because it was melted down and washed away, but most of the dirts and gunks is still left deep inside the pores and when I try to extract them out using a presser it is hard to be extracted and have left my skin with redness because I pressed too much. I think this might be good for people who only have a little problem with their pores. But I do still comfortable using it...I mean at least it did reduce the blackheads a little bit, plus this is my first Laneige product so I'm more than happy to have tried it out.

The left photo was my nose before using the melting gel, look nasty rite? I know...it is gross to look at those clogged pores/blackheads and etc..LOL. I did't really have so much blackheads but I do have a lot of clogged pores around T-zone area because I wear makeup all the time and having a clogged pores is just natural to makeup users. Even if they cleansed their face very well, a little traces of makeup can still be left inside the pores and clogging them...that is why it is vital to use a products that can combat them. Right photo was my nose after using the melting gel...not bad lah actually...I think it can be my second best besides B.liv.

There are many other K-beauty products can be found on Althea, do check them out and get ready to be impressed with their prices & hot deals!

See you guys on my next post!

┬┴┬┴┤・ω・)ノ

*jumping out from the hiding*

Booh!

I'm always a contacts girl. I love wearing contact lenses to no matter where I go. If I have to list down a brands that I really feel comfortable wearing is Geo, Freshlook, Blinkon & etc. I mostly wear the one from Geo & Freshlook all the time because they're very soft and did not irritting and hurt my eyeballs *excuse my hyperbola* LOL

Truth be told, I never really wear any one-day contacts so far because normally I love to buy the monthly or the 3 months contacts. But after trying the one-day contacts..wooo who knows I love it! Like this is a real deal for those lazy kids who love to wear contact lenses but damn lazy at cleaning them. Cleaning them will most likely takes 5 minutes every time after you wear it and if you are not wearing them everyday you need to regularly change the solution to keep them hygiene. But with this one-day one you don't need to do so because it will only last for a day. It's a sin if you wear it more than one day, you might get an eye infection.

What do you need to do is take the seal off, take the contacts and wear them on (Caution: make sure your hands are 100% clean, wash your hands properly and dry them well) After you return from the occasion or work just take them off (again, make sure your hands is clean) and throw them away. This is so convenient, not only to the person who hate to clean the contacts after wearing them but this is also very helpful to those who only want to wear the contacts on a certain occasion which do not really wish to keep it for a month of more. I got this from Mr.Lens, the website to buy authentic contacts at unbeatable prices with many brands choice...thank you to Mr.Lens for always being there whenever I need a contacts..*sobs happily*

You can choose a color that you want when you buy on Mr.Lens. I have mine in Green color from the Freshlook brand..there are more brands but if you would like to find a one-day color contacts I suggest you to try the one from Freshlook. Their colors naturally blends well with anyone's eye color. This green color doesn't look very greeny like a bakemono (monster) on me...instead, it looks like a natural brown in center with a hint green ring around, fading inwards. That is pretty!

See how natural the green color looks like on me! Loove it!

I hate the contacts that have a toooo large diameter, it makes one looks like an alien to me, scary~ (unless you gonna wear a pretty thick eye makeup for an event, cosplay or such) Freshlook normally have around 14.5 to 15 diameter only, that is almost the same with our eyes so it looks natural and fits very well, this is the reason I've been a loyal customer of Freshlook for so long! (been wearing a Freshlook contacts since I was at 13)

Freshlook One-Day Color Contact Lenses comes with 5 pairs in every box. Mine is -3.25 power because I'm short-sighted (my real power is higher than -4.00 to be frank), there are many powers to choose from, from -0.00 to -4.00. If you are wearing a contacts to replace glasses I don't think it is a good idea because contacts does not act like a glasses and it doesn't really help people with a high power (severe sight problem) like how glasses do. It only will enhance a little bit of the sight while giving you a new look (I mean the-not-nerdy look without glasses). In short, contact lenses only exist mostly for a cosmetical (untuk cantik cantik je) purpose while giving a slight enhancement of the sight for the rabun people, not to completely replace the glasses. For me, I only will wear a contacts during the day because I wear makeup every time I go out and a makeup with a glasses on me looks so funny together like it does not click at all haha. After I got home I will take them off and wear my glasses again to read & etc. So contacts is only for occasion during the day for me.

Btw, thanks to Mr.lens for the lollipop gift too...and it's an ichigo (strawberry) flavor!..lollipop ga daaaaisuki desu!

Ahh before I forget about this, make sure to use my special code for RM100 purchase and above on Mr.Lens to get a RM20 off before 31st August 2015! Maybe you can buy yourself a Freshlook contacts too hehe!

Konnichiwa  cookies & cream gelato!

I've once got an unknown people said this to me "be active and smell nice!"...
etto..I wonder what is that could mean by that...does someone who sweat a lot but smell nice really exist anyway?? saa ne...tehepero! (#⌒∇⌒#)ゞ

I've noticed the existence of this product since the early of 2013 but I haven't really got a chance to try it out, plus it was quite hard to get a Japanese products in Malaysia back then thus as day by day gone without realizing it I have naturally forgotten about it. It was a week ago when the fate decided to make me stumble upon it again on this online shop called zenzendream.com. I heard that this fragrance candy have a new packaging now and this the last 2 packs of the old version that only left, I bought them anyway though it's going to expire on the end of this August coz I'm sure I can finish them quickly, plus it was the last 2 packs and I haven't even have tried it out before...it was such a "golden" packs now haha. Say candy and just give me no matter how many of them I'll surely nibble them off in a sight!...looking forward to buy that new version one and I'll make a review of them later, for sure!

*UPDATE: You can still buy this old version from zenzendream.com, Just go and ask them and they'll find and bring them in for you! And [HERE] is the review of the new version (☆^ー^☆)

Gosh, I can't stop admiring the packaging it is tooooooo kawaii deshou!
The size of the packet is quite small and can fit into any girl's handbag nicely too!

Fuwarinka lierally means "Fluffy (fuwa) Flower (rinka)", probably it was named like so because the candies is soft and it have a rosy scent. This soft rose fragranced candy use real rose extracts to deliver an accurate flavor and specially made for women to eliminate the body odor, letting you smell like a walking rose. It's enriched with damask rose oil, collagen hyaluronic acid (HA) and vitamin C to aid in better collagen absorption. All of these ingredients that have been found beneficial for our skin. Each foil re-sealable pack contains 12pcs.

The moment I opened the packet, I was greeted by that lovely rosy scent...gosh nante ii nioi da ne!
I'm not so sure whether it can really emits a rose scented body odor since this is just my first time trying out this fragranced candy but if you are a science believer, it has been scientifically proven that our body odor will be produced according to whatever we eat daily. In that case I do believe that this candy might work the trick out if you consume it regularly in a long term. And as a girl nothing can be more pleasing than having a pleasantful body odor!

The taste have a hint of citrusy fruit paired with a lovely rose scent.

I bought the last 2 packs from zenzendream.com so there's no more of them you can find on their website, plus this is the one with the old packaging so it's rarely can be found now...even if there is but the stocks is probably on the verge of expiring. However they will happily bring in the new version from Japan if you ask them nicely! I'm excitedly looking forward to buy that new version too! *starry eyes* I honestly love the packaging of this old version compared to the new one. The new one would look something like this...

*UPDATE: You can still buy this old version from zenzendream.com, Just go and ask them and they'll find and bring them in for you! (☆^ー^☆)

But I still do love the packaging of this new version one too, still totemo kawaii!!

I asked them and they said that each pack will cost you around RM15 and there's no minimum order!
Go ask them too if you're interested! More interesting, many Japanese novelty stuff can be found on their website too and not to mention that the price is also cheap! Take a look at their website and excite yourself especially if you're really into Japanese stuff!

etto...so now how about we start consuming something "fragrancy" & start smelling like a walking rose?
Jaa matta ne!

See you guys on my next post!

Yah matcha gelato!

Loose powder is more lightweight in texture compared to pressed powder, it allows skin to breath while making a perfect flawless coverage because it is not too dense and "loose". The name itself is self explanatory. If you apply it with a good brush, in a right way...the porcelain-like smooth skin could effortlessly be yours in no time.

However a wrong technique and too much of it can give you that nightmare ghost white cast.

That's why the mineral loose powder is here. I've been using this for a while and really liking how it works on me. What makes mineral powder do better than a normal loose powder? It is natural in look, and it does not make your face looks cakey...not to mention that this Candy Doll Mineral Loose Powder works well with any shades of skin. What make this Candy Doll Mineral Loose Powder so special is no matter how much you put them on it will not produce that white cast, pasty ghost look, greyish look or whatever the bad terms on makeup you will call for!

It does not have a high pigmented base therefore it will looks natural to just anyone's skin regardless of shades. Mineral is a natural ingredient and it have a better natural chemistry towards our skin too.

Bulky & the unique designed box full with kawaiism! Awsh! I love the black & white stripes on any makeup packaging..it looks really cute & simply fashionable in my opinion, just how I love the Sephora's theme, every time I walk in their stores!

Open the cap and put the seal off, shake the round jar slightly to the side and pour it on the cap. Swirl your brush on and tap the excess...set the powder on and you're ready to go for the polished look! You can use the fluffy sponge provided if you like, but I don't really recommend that as it does not give the satisfying look and the result is uneven. I especially love to wear this loose powder using Breena Beauty Face Luxe Brush because the brush is soo fluffy and gives you a very even polished look within a few swipes!

The loose powder is very very translucent and the texture is surprisingly soft, lightweight & ultra fine as well! I did't collected so many loose powder, so far I only have Nars, Tony Moly and this Candy Doll but I think this one is the best loose powder I ever owned aside Nars! (sorry for the Tony Moly one, their loose powder failed to impress me) If you would like to find a mineral loose powder which does not give that pasty ghost look no matter how much you put them on, then I really suggest you girls to try this one! Since it does not have a SPF, wearing this during winter, fall & spring would be a good advantage...but of course you can still wear it during summer & hot weather too..just make sure to use a foundation/BB ceam/any base with SPF.

Pros

  • Kawaii packaging (I really love that black & white stripes on it!)
  • Ultra fine & lightweight
  • Soft, comfortable and silky texture
  • Made from mineral properties
  • Suit all skin shades
  • The packaging itself is also lightweight

Cons

  • Kinda pricey for some people (But with the performance it has given I think it worth it)
  • May not suitable to bring on a journey because compact powder can be much convenient.

*Aside these two cons I don't find anymore as much as this mineral loose powder honestly gave me what I've been searching for!
