Neutrogena Deep Clean Foaming Cleanser

Hello again strawberry crepes!

I believe that we're too familiar with Neutrogena brand, there's always ads on youtube, your tv and pretty sure you've seen them too in most Malaysia's drugstores. Have been hearing about how good their oil-free acne wash too, I just never tried this brand given my skin type appear to be an antonym to the acne prone skin, rather a lil bit dry.

So few weeks ago I was sent this to try out, been using this for weeks and know what. I LOVE IT. It's so different for me to love any deep cleansers, coz I always thought it might make my skin drier than it already is, as it is told to be a deep cleanser it will cleanse away everything even the moisture away and so I never give a second thought to even try. This is a shame, I should've just tried this before!

Neutrogena Deep Clean Foaming Cleanser is a facial cleanser that works thoroughly to
remove dirt, oil and dead skin cells while providing long lasting oil control and improving the appearance of your skin.

As how most of the cleanser looks like, it comes in a tube like this with a flip open cap. it's tight when you close it so you don't have to worry to bring this in your bag whenever travelling as it won't oozing out. Just squeeze a small amount on your palm and lather it up with water to use it. Now some tips to cleanse your face, many people who often have breakouts never realized it that most of them were not even born with an acne prone nor oily skin, it has something to do with the right way to cleanse your face.

A proper way of cleansing is you need to lather it up on your palms with water first to create a rich foam as it removes skin impurities that can build up in pores such as excess oil, dirt and makeup effortlessly. The richer the foam the better.

Tiny amount of this cleanser makes an abundant rich and creamy foam and it feels good after you rinse it off, the skin feels squeaky clean but not dry.

The dermatologist-tested formula is clinically proven with oil control formula that helps in reducing the surface oil while retaining the natural moisture your skin have to keep your skin looking clear, fresh and healthy. The cleanser comes in a white color, semi-thick, and it has a mild fragrance which is good for a person with sensitive nose like me, I can't help myself to sneeze every time I use something too fragrancy. Something I notice too, the cleanser actually have a tiny beads, this is great to help with removing dead surface skin that can dry, roughen and dull your complexion without being too abrasive. I actually find this to be a multi-cleanser for all the jobs it can do.

For the record, I have a dry skin and even so this cleanser still works just fine, it does not rip away all the moisture, and it fact every time after I wipe off my makeup, cleansing the residue of them using this cleanser makes my skin feels free of greasiness and yet I can still smile without looking like an old granny with a taut feeling skin. Speculatively, it's still not a good idea to use this in winters unless you really have an oil refinery like skin LOL.

I am not sure about others but I seldom use toner, not to mention after the use of this cleanser, I don't think I need a toner coz it makes my skin feels matte already. In the nutshell, I really love it for the negligible fragrance, long lasting coz you only need a small quantity to create enough lather to remove external impurities to the pores (non-comedogenic), and it controls the shine. One thing I do not like about it is I probably won't bring it if I were to travel in winters. I prefer to use my favourite Hada Labo if it feels to dry for me to use it because Hada Labo is very moisturising, just that it's not really efficient against makeup removing like Neutrogena.

Ingedients : Water, Sodium C14 16 Olefin Sulfonate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium C12 15 Pareth 15 Sulfonate, Salicylic Acid, Linoleamidopropyl PG Dimonium Chloride Phosphate, Disodium EDTA, Propylene Glycol, FD&C Yellow 5, FD&C Red 40, Fragrance

Would I buy this again? HELLA YES coz this is still a great cleanser to double cleanse my face on the super heavy makeup day! You can find this on both Guardian and Watsons and other drugstores or shopping malls in Malaysia like Aeon, Giant and etc. If you're looking for the brand which specilized in deep cleansing and acne this is one of the good brand out there. The price of this cleanser is only RM10.20 (NP) affordable no? xD
